Risk Assessment
Risk Assessment helps you prepare a drone operation systematically and document your decisions. It combines the location, aircraft, environmental conditions and mitigations in a traceable assessment.
Before you start
- Make sure the aircraft is recorded in your personal or organization fleet. Have the operation and location details ready.
How to use it
- Open Risk Assessment and start a new assessment or open an existing entry.
- Select the aircraft and, where applicable, organization. Enter operation details and set or verify the location on the map.
- Review weather and imported geozones. Compare freshness and coverage with the authoritative original sources.
- Answer the operation, environment and hazard questions. Record suitable mitigations and observers where relevant; review all warnings.
- Check the summary and save the assessment. Use the available report or print view to retain your documentation.
What you get
A saved assessment remains available for editing and documentation. Reassess it when weather, location or operation details change.
What to check
An assessment does not grant flight authorization. Missing data, outdated maps and unrecorded local hazards may limit the result.
Common questions
No aircraft available?
Check your fleet or ask your organization administrator to add the required aircraft.
Missing or outdated geozones?
Open Geozone status and Data sources. Report data issues and check the flight independently against current authoritative information.
